DH doesn't get it

Last night I was excited to show him this very cute crib set with lions that I found on the military exchange website. His response, "You are obsessed with spending money. We don't need a crib set."

First of all I just thought it was cute. Second of all- since when does the baby not need anything to sleep on? Third- it was $119 for 5 pieces. I didn't think that was very expensive.

Also, he claims that "babies don't need clothes." Just diapers. Except our baby is going to be born in December or January. In Michigan.

Is he just dumb or am I hormonal??

    Um, no clothes?  Does he ever plan to take the baby out of the house?  Wow, he's in for a reality check.

    lol it sounds like your HUBBY is hormonal! What a dork, duh babies need clothes and shoes and shampoo and food and all kinds of stuff! And you should've told him if the baby doesn't need a bed set then you'll just take HIS off the bed and see how he likes sleeping with no pillows, sheets, or comforter!

    $119 is GREAT! Show him some couture set that's $800 and say SEE I found us a cheap one!! :)

    Yikes. Sounds like he's never known anyone with a baby before. Babies need a lot of stuff.

    He's dumb.  Babies need clothes, especially in the winter in cold places.  Babies need places to sleep.  $119 for a 5 piece set is pretty good.  I spent $150 on ours for our first.

    Has he seen an ultrasound and heart a heartbeat yet? It may have just not sunk in yet. A lot of guys (including my DH) are like that.

    Michigan in December? the baby will need alot more than clothes. Try hats gloves blanket snow suit. Reality check time..
