do convertible carseats breathe better?

It was only 70 degrees this morning and Jack and I went out...he is still in the infant seat.  When I took him out of the seat, he was SO sweaty.  It was only a 10 minute drive.   It's going to get A LOT hotter than 70 this summer.  I'm just wondering if it's time to move to a convertible seat, especially if he won't get so sweaty and yucky in it.

  • Do you have a chicco by any chance?  DD is always warm in hers.  We had to ditch the bundle me in the February becuase it was just too much.

  • i would assume it would be more comfy bc there is definitely more space to spread out than there is crunched up in the carrier.

  • Not in my experience. My kids get sweaty in all seats. I live in Arizona though and it's already over 100. The best I could do was to make sure the rear air conditioner vents were directly on them.
