do convertible carseats breathe better?

It was only 70 degrees this morning and Jack and I went out...he is still in the infant seat.  When I took him out of the seat, he was SO sweaty.  It was only a 10 minute drive.   It's going to get A LOT hotter than 70 this summer.  I'm just wondering if it's time to move to a convertible seat, especially if he won't get so sweaty and yucky in it.

    Do you have a chicco by any chance?  DD is always warm in hers.  We had to ditch the bundle me in the February becuase it was just too much.

    i would assume it would be more comfy bc there is definitely more space to spread out than there is crunched up in the carrier.

    Not in my experience. My kids get sweaty in all seats. I live in Arizona though and it's already over 100. The best I could do was to make sure the rear air conditioner vents were directly on them.
