On the topic of baby poop, if you've recently started solids...

Have you been noticing more formed poo?  Sarah went two or three times today and didn't seem at all constipated before she went, but each time it was more solid, like toothpaste or so.  Honestly, I'd be happy if they kept up like that, because it seemed MUCH less likely to leak out of the diaper like her runnier, all breastmilk poops have been.

  • It's definitely thicker but the thing I find weird is its so much more often. She went from every other day to 1-2 times a day. And I thought rice was binding!

  • Are you BFing?  Their bodies process just about all of your milk so it takes awhile for them to even amount enough worth pooping out.  Sarah could go almost a week or sometimes more without pooping before we started cereal.

We started cereal and nanas and I haven't seen a formed pooped yet, but we just started solids this weekend and have only given her a tablespoon or less at a time.

I was doing both but just stopped over the weekend. That makes sense though.
