One, which has a private room is Alice's Tea Cup on 64th and Lexington. You can have a tea party and a baby shower. I've been to a bridal shower there before. I lvoe the place. 100's of kinds of teas, delicious finger sandwiches, and fresh scones!!! its modeled after Alice in Wonderland, so its cute for baby-related parties.

Second, I am the store manager of a Gelato, crepe, and panini cafe. We have a small area in the back for small parties (max 10 people). We may also be able to close down the store for a little if you wanna take over the whole store (up to 30 people sitting down.) Its called Melt and its on 2nd Ave between 55th and 56th streets. We're not busy during the weekdays in the mornings, and also we can cater parties at home if you don't want to shut the store down, and you find the little area in teh back to be too small.
