I left 5 bottles this morning (her first day), although I'm pretty sure that she will only need 4. Until she has a more regular feeding schedule, I will continue to leave 1 extra, just in case she unexpectedly cluster feeds.
DD is at day care from roughly 7-4. I always bring 5 bottles, but she's only ever gone through 3. I worry that she might refuse a bottle which will then be wasted and/or need an extra one in a day. She's only been going for a couple of weeks, so I might only bring four after we get used to it.
She gets (and has only ever gotten) three bottles of BM. I think the original # of ounces may only have been 3 oz in each bottle. She is now at 4-5 oz in each bottle.
On 2 occasions they have defrosted some of the freezer stash I leave with them for her to eat (growth spurt days). Other than that, she's been fine.
Re: How many bottles do you leave at daycare?
DD is there from 8-5 since 3 months.
