Essential oils

I am thinking of getting some essential oils, but don't know what the best ones are. I am talking about the brand as well as the actual type of oil. I've heard good things about Young Living, but they don't seem to be organic. I would think organic would be best because of the pesticides that may be used.

What do you guys think and do you have recs for types of EO or brands?

Re: Essential oils

  • YL actually has the higest grade and purest oils on the market.  If you are using them for therapeutic uses they are the best to use.

I sometimes use the Now Care brand (especially if I need a large amount of oil for a recipe) and have just heard about this site and hope to explore it closer soon:

  • I got mine from https://www.timelessapothecary.com/. They are in the same state as me so I got them the next day! And I am really picky about lavendar and knew I liked theirs b/c my esthetician uses them. I honestly didn't think to check if they were organic or if they had the "best" prices but I am happy with them.

  • I get mine at Whole Foods.  I haven't dove too deep yet into the world of EO's, but I use Tea Tree Oil and Lavender.  I put the TTO with some water and use as a Febreze solution and I put Lavender drops on our pillows at night.
