Does anyone else hope K. Heigl leaves the show? I used to like her, but ever since the back and forth with her and producers the past off season, I kind of just want her to go away. And now all the mags are saying how she has a good chance at the Emmy this season and I really hope that does not happen. I do not think anything she did this season was worthy at all. Sure her character has a terminal illness and is almost dead, but her acting was not Emmy worthy. And now she is saying she wants to stay on the show... let her go, I don't think she is the anchor to the show she thinks she is.

I think they're going to keep her- maybe she'll be in a coma or something. Moral of that story- don't piss off the writers. They will make you crazy hallucinating girl, then they'll shave your head!
I'm thinking George is gone though- he was hardly in the show this season.
I really like her. I hope she stays.
All else aside, I think she's a great actress.

I don't mind her. I think she is staying as well and George is gone. Also can anyone explain why Meredith knew it was him when he did 007?? I didn't get that.
Meredith used to annoy me big time but she's gotten better. George was better this season- not as much of a whiner- probably cause he was hardly on!

That's what they called him in the beginning (season 1).
I really used to think so too. And it maybe all the off season hoopla that clouds my judgement of her this season. I loved her in 27 dresses and knocked up, but then she came out and slammed Knocked Up and Judd Aptow (sp?) and I was like really? You just shot to fame bc of that movie and that guy and you slam it? Eh, maybe she'll grow on me again, but she got awfully full of herself.
While they were interns George killed a guy in surgery... so he is "Licensed to kill" so they called him 007.
I think they left Izzy's character open with a lot of options for story lines next season. They can really focus on her marriage with Alex, the difficulties of overcoming cancer, etc. That's why I think she'll stay.
George was hardly on the show this season. There's no story line left for him to pursue at this point and nothing I can think of that would make his character even remotely interesting. I think they were stupid not to have a relationship develop between him and Lexie even though I'm kinda digging the Lexie/Dr. Sloan combo. So, that leads me to believe that he wants out or they want him off.
