My doctor said your chances of pregnancy are greatly increased after a miscarriage, but I don't know if he was just saying that to make us feel better.
There are definitely a lot of success stories out there that have made me feel hopeful and optimistic about moving forward. You might try cross-posting on the Success after a Loss board.

I lost my first baby to m/c at 14 weeks in July 08. We found out at 13 weeks that there was no heartbeat. I opted for a natural miscarriage, which lasted about 2 weeks from beginning to end (with one big, very clear labor event). I got my period again in August and missed it in September (we opted not to wait to try again). Our little girl is due on June 18th! We are overjoyed and so far everything looks good.
To be very honest, we still feel the loss of the first and I still consider her my first baby. We named her and have found ways to honor her over the past year. I also know how much more exciting and precious this child will be to us due in part to the loss of the first. I lurk on this board because the loss was so profound for me and I feel drawn to others who've had the same experience. I pray that each of us is able to welcome a baby into our lives. Best wishes!
I just had a m/c in March at 13 weeks. Our little girl had Turner's syndrome, a random chormosomal abnormality, w/o any genetic ties. We were told to wait 1-3 cycles (3 different opinions from 3 different doctors). We opted to wait one cycle. I had AF in April and just found out this weekend that I'm pregnant! I'm 4 weeks right now,and keeping my fingers crossed. Good luck to you!
I got pregnant right away after my miscarriage in January and it ended in a chemical pregnancy. I got pregnant again right away and so far so good. Obviously it is still very early but I am hopeful that things will turn out ok.
Do I wish I would have waited? Hmmm...that is tough. Yes and no. This time was very emotionally difficult. I had to learn to completely surrender control to God. Going through another miscarriage very soon after my other loss was very very hard. I wish you the best of luck.
