Sometimes I wish we didn't get gifts...

We were very generously given a lot of stuff for DS's baptism - unfortunately, it included several things that went right into the 'to be donated' bags.  Included in this were two packs of size 6 disposables, a cheap bottle which I doubt is BPA free (and really, we don't need anymore), and some burp cloths.  I always feel bad when I accept these things, knowing that there's no way that DS will ever use them.  *sigh*  Hopefully someone will!!

    I can understand that... but at least you are donating them rather than tossing them! Smile I'm determined to go through my house and donate things to our local women's shelter..

    btw, you gotta PIP pics from tha baptism! I'm sure everyone would love to see! also.. what did you end up putting Ian in? I recall you searching for the perfect outfit..!!! did you find it??

    Our church is doing a "stuff a crib' drive for a pregnancy center. They are getting a slew of stuff that we were given and don't need. It was just going to goodwill but I feel better about this!

    I know - I need to get around putting them on our computer - it will be tonight's task! 

    Perfect outfit... well, it worked - wasn't anything special, but it definitely worked - he looked like a little man.  :)

    I feel the same way about gifts a lot of the time.  It makes me feel so guilty and like an ungrateful beyotch, but really, I don't want the stuff cluttering up our tiny house.  Gifts stress me out - both giving and receiving!
