failed their first glucose test?
I thought that I've been doing everything right, not over eating, trying to eat healthy for the most part, working out several times a week...yet they called today and said I failed and I have to go back tomorrow for the 3 hour test???
I honestly thought there was some sort of mistake.
My weight gain hasn't been too crazy either...
0 lbs in the first tri...
and so far I've gained about 18 lbs and I'm 27 weeks!!
Help...what am I doing wrong?

I have been told that sometimes there isn't any way to prevent GD. Some people just get it, no matter what they do.
It looks like you've been very healthy and have done everything you could do. And you may pass the 3 hour. It could have been something you ate before you did your 1 hour that is affecting the results.
Hope everything goes well tomorrow.
1. There are a lot of women who fail the 1hr and pass the 3hr.
2. There is nothing that you did wrong! Sometimes pregnancy causes your pancreas to go haywire - not your food choices or weight gain. There are lots of women who end up with GD - you're not alone and NOT to blame!
Good luck!?
You're not doing anything wrong. You can eat right and work out all you want, and it won't change whether or not you develop GB.
Besides, the one hour doesn't diagnose anything. It just shows that you may have it. I've known several people personally (and several on the boards as well) that failed their one hour but was fine with the three hour. Out of the probably four girls I know personally who failed it, only one had GB.
You have no control over whether or not you get GD.
... where's Jenerally?
There is nothing you can do to prevent it and no symptoms to watch out for should you have it. You can fail your one hour and and still pass your 3 hour.
**There are worse things that could happen than having GD. Think about it!
