TTC after 35

Hello girls!

I feel like it's been forever. Thanks CBart for firing up a search party :)

Last week I was smoking busy at work, and here in Canada this is a long weekend, so have been camping since Friday.

I am not opposed to camping, but it's not my top pick for a weekend away. DH on the other hand would head to the woods with a tin, a match and bottle of water and settle in for a week.

But we had fun, though AF showed up. It's my turn to pick a getaway. I am booking a week or so in Hawaii. No tins or matches required.

Did you see "our" big BFP!!!  Well, it's Indiana's but I'm enjoying it vicariously.  Maybe good things DO happen to good people!

Fran, hey there! I just saw it that moment. How freaking fantastic is that.

Welcome back! A tin, match and bottle of water for a week in the woods sounds great to me. I miss camping so much. My husband refuses to step foot in the woods. His idea of "roughing it" is staying in a Holiday Inn as opposed to the Ritz Carlton. I planned our last vacation that didn't go so well. I picked a lovely cottage on the cliffs of the Atlantic Ocean in Bar Harbor, Maine. After one night my husband moved us to the Harborside Resort Spa and Marina because he couldn't take anymore nights of "camping" at the cottage.?

  • Girl, I'm so glad you're back!

I'm not big on camping either.  Hawaii sounds like a good alternative!

Saver my precious, hello! You are indeed correct. While camping is fine, Maui is better!

Yeah!  It's much nicer to observe nature from an air-conditioned room while sipping a tropical adult beverage.

  • Welcome back Cath.  We missed you.

I would pick Hawaii over camping for sure.  I don't need a fancy hotel, but don't make me sleep outside.  And, camping plus AF doesn't sound fun at all.

  • Welcome back!  I am down with luxury in Hawaii any.day.of.the.week. Yes
  • Hiya, Cathy! Nice to "see" you again.

I love camping and I love Hawaii.

If you go to Maui, and feel like doing something a little unusual in between swimming with sea turtles and drinking fruity adult beverages on the beach, check out the Surfing Goat dairy.  I found it interesting to learn about dairy goats and the farm, and the cheese is delicious. It would probably go well with some adult beverages...

Sorry about AF. That evil wench!
