When my LO was only two weeks old, I would only run to a store for a few things if I had DS with me. Now that he is five months old, he can go longer between feedings so I can go either way.

It's probably about 50-50. I only work until 1pm on Fridays so that was usually my grocery shopping day. It's not that hard to shop with DS but carrying in the groceries is my biggest challange with him. So if I need to do a big shopping trip I wait for DH to be home but if it is a smaller trip I take DS.
I went with DS at 3 weeks. I waited until he had just fed. Then I knew I had some time before he would start screaming again. I still laugh when I think of that first trip b/c I didn't even look at my list....I just ran through the isles and threw stuff in the cart, praying that DS wouldn't wake up and start screaming.
It went well....he even let me put the frozen items away before he started screaming. GL!
Both. While I was home on maternity leave he and I would pack up and go on a Friday Am. Now that I'm back at work I go Saturday AM...so depending on what projects DH has going on I either leave him or take him with me. He loves riding in the cart and usually passes out so it's never been an issue.
I went a few times with LO in the baby bjorn so I could push the cart with both hands an she would snuggle in and sleep mostly. But most of the time daddy goes too so he can push her in the stroller. Last time I went alone and got a lot more done though.
Once she's old enough to situp in the cart by herself and not be cranky we'll go back to taking her with us.
Depends - I normally do small shopping trips - fresh fruits and veggies - stuff like that on my way to pick DD up from daycare. I stop in and get what I need and keep going to pick up DD...but if its a major shopping trip - I normally do that on a Saturday morning after I get DD settled with DH.
Both. DS doesn't like to be worn so I put his infant seat in the big part of the cart which doesn't leave a ton of room for groceries if I am doing a big shop. So if it is a really major shop then he stays home. But he loves the grocery store and looking at all the stuff...
DS gets fussy unless he's being held, which is pretty much impossible with a shopping cart. I just wait until DH can watch him and run errands on my own.
a huge part of my business is grocery shopping and she always comes with me. I've taken her to the store by myself since she was a few weeks old. The moby is essential...I wouldn't do it any other way!
I didn't take Caden until he was able to sit in the cart (around 6 mos). With 2 of them I don't even bother! I have the groceries delivered about every 2 weeks & just pick up fresh things here & there throughout the week. There is NO WAY I could manage both of them in a grocery store :shudders at thought:

It really just depends. Usually if I only have to get a couple things I'll take him. If we have to do a lot of shopping I'll wait until we can all go together or I'll go by myself and leave him with DH.

I was paranoid to take him b/c he can be a screamer, but I've done grocery shopping with him. ?I just put him in the Moby carrier and he slept through the whole thing.
Although, he did scream the whole time I was unpacking the groceries...that was no fun.
I`d take DH with you the first time so you have some help if your LO starts to act up. ?It'll get easier as he gets older.?

While it's MUCH easier if I can leave both of them at home, it's not always practical. If I have to bring both of them, I make the trip short and just pick up the necessities, saving the big trip for when I can do it alone.
DS went to Whole Foods with me yesterday. I was disappointed that his carrier did not fit in the basket part of the cart. It has at other stores like Target.
I went on a big trip yesterday to Walmart and Sam's Club. We were gone for 2 hours, and she didn't reallyfuss until we got in the car. I actually fed her a bottle while shopping, and when she got tired I popped in the pacifier. She likes looking around at the people.
We usually do a trip to the grocery store and a trip to Walmart each week. When we go to the grocery store I wear DS and DH goes with us. When we go to Walmart DS and I are on our own. I just pop him in the Moby wrap and he looks around and babbles away. When he was younger he used to fall asleep in the Moby on our trips out.

We do the same thing. Lately DH has been working A LOT so I had to go alone with DS. I wore him and just got necessities.

This is what we do 90% of the time! Its fun for all!

I went once with DS and I must admit I thought it would be worse than it was. Driving in the car is worse than our grocery store trip was.
Otherwise I go by myself. It's one of the few times I have without him.
