They don't need to "go together." Of course it's ok! The two names sound fine together.

The only thing I consider in terms of siblings is avoiding two drastically different styles. Like naming one son River and the other James. LOL

I think Will and Gabrielle are fine together. ?I think sibling names should be of a similar style, the the above poster said...but Will and Gabrielle and Will are both fairly classic, easy-to-say names. ?

Because when 2 kids have really traditional names and one child has a super trendy or unique name it really does look strange. I would definitely notice. ?

I know a woman who has just a "normal" name, but her brother and sister have both unique Biblical names and she felt left out like she was the "black sheep."?

I think that unless saying your children's names together creates some weird slang term or negative phrase, you needn't worry about it. Each of your children have their own identity and their own name. I knew a family who's children all shared the same name (not unlike the TLC family just fewer kids) and I always thought it was odd that they were so concerned about 'matching' sib names...just my 2 cents
