I am ... I am so excited. It is tomorrow at 2:15 and I can't wait.

Things have been a bit off and on with spotting, cramping and then falling. So this should give me visual reassurrance that things are still going well.

Wednesday morning, viability check. I am so scared when I think about it. I've never had a positive u/s (well, the one for the ectopic when we knew it wasn't tubal was sort of positive), so I'm half-convinced that I will go in and see the same thing as the fall - ie, no baby/heartbeat.

I have my NT scan tomorrow. Or at least that's what I think I heard her say. At the rate I'm going it's probably a month from now and I'm going to show up for the damn appointment 10 times before I'm actually supposed to be there.

My first appt is this thurs. It probably won't be an u/s because this is a new doctor so I probably have so much paperwork to do before we do the fun stuff. Hopefully I'll be able to hear the heartbeat!

2nd u/s this Friday because I'm further behind than we thought. Saw the heart flicker last time but Dr. said I was only like 5 weeks instead of 7. Oh well at least it flickered!

I had an unscheduled one today because I started bleeding this weekend. Thank God everything is ok with baby. Something about burst blood vessels might have caused it.

My next scheduled one is the 28th

this exactly. i've had 5 ultrasounds already. the first 2 were to rule out ectopic. the 2nd two were to check for viability (yolk sac and then heart beat). the 5th one was to make sure baby was ok after i started bleeding this weekend.

so yeah, it's nice to have pictures of baby, it's scary as hell to NEED so many u/s.

We have the NT Scan on Friday. We had our 1st u/s at 8 weeks. It was great to get pics of the baby!

I am leaving in 20 minutes for my 1st one. I am so excited, but still nervous. I was at my 9 week u/s appt. when I found out I needed a D & C my first pregnancy. I have a healthy and happy 5 year old, so I am confident this one will be ok too.

Thursday- I'll be 13w2d. We're not doing an NT scan or anything, but my doc scheduled it as a "peace of mind" u/s, which rocks my world. Not that I can't listen to the HB whenever I want and get some peace of mind- I my doppler!

This is so true. U/s are not always happy things and it sucks a lot to dread them so much. Holding your breath while you pray for this time to be different and straining to see a flicker and waiting for the tech to tell you what you are looking at . . . man it sucks. I've already had the conversation with tech in my head that there is something there and there is nothing there. The wait for this is nerve-wracking at best.
