I am excited to find out there was a STL board.  I just had my babies (boy and a girl) last week.  They came 6 weeks early and are spending time in the special care nursery until they are big enough to come home.  Last Tuesday was really tough coming home without them.  I cried all of Monday night so I was strong when I said goodbye on Tuesday to them.  I was just wondering if anyone else had to leave their babies at the hospital when you were discharged and how you got through it.  Each day is getting better for me, but it's still hard every time I leave them.

    I had to leave both my babies!  It is hard!  My 1st was in the NICU for 2 weeks at Cardinal Glennon and then our newest was in the NICU for only 5 days and thank god he was in the local hospital 5 mins from our house.  But with my last the day I was discharged was Mothers Day, that was the hardest Mothers Day ever!  I kept threaten the doc telling him I was going to call the doc and tell her what he was doing to me!
