If you have a few extra thoughts or prayers my aunt could sure use them tomorrow. She is a breast cancer survivor, battled long and hard with it two years ago. At her check up last week they found a questionable lump and will be doing a biopsy tomorrow. Thanks ladies, I have watched first hand how the power of thought & prayer can do some wonderful things right here on this board and I'm hoping it can work it's magic again.
Re: Thoughts/Prayers needed for my aunt
Your aunt, and your whole family is in my thoughts and prayers. I'm sorry you have to go through this on top of everything else.
Just last night I received a call from my mother where she told me that my 99-year-old grandmother has just been diagnosed with breast cancer. Due to her age, they would normally let the disease run it's course and just make her comfortable in her final months/weeks/days, but because she has a tumor so large in her left breast it has broken through her chest cavity and they have to perform a double mastectomy on Wednesday. My grandmother would much rather just let the cancer take her....
Your aunt is a survivor and I'm sure she's a very strong woman. I wish her all the best and another successful recovery.
