Snow Goose Ice Cream Lovers (PIP)

My parent's live very close (literally on the way) to Snow Goose.  The day before Mother's Day, Tillman got his first solo cone.

TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.

Re: Snow Goose Ice Cream Lovers (PIP)

  • Wow, that's a big cone!  It's at least half the size of his head.  I bet he enjoyed it!

It's really yummy.  Snow Goose is a produce stand between Conway and La Conner.  Those huge cones are three bucks!

    Take I-5 North

    Take Exit 221 Lake McMurray/Conway

    Turn Left going west

Turn right onto Fir Island Road (first turn after the freeway)

    Go Through Conway

(See my parent's green/white farm house on the right - don't hit their crazy dog that runs around)

    Go Over the Skagit

Continue on Fir Island Road for a bit, bending north

    Snow Goose on the left

It's about 10 minutes from the freeway.

I'm so jealous Emma! I grew up in MV and my dream is to eventually live on Fir Island or Pleasant Ridge/Rexville/Dodge Valley area. DH likes Pleasant ridge b/c it doesn't flood like Fir Island does. Are your parents on FIr Island?

?How great would it be to walk/bike to Snow Goose to buy groceries for dinner? Or bike up to the Rexville grocery for a latte and sticky bun on a saturday morning? ::sigh::

My parent's live just east of Fir Island, right before you go over the Skagit.  (They can see the river from their bedroom window.) They have lived there for 11 years.  I GUESS that side of the river has never flooded. Hopefully it won't!  It is nice up there.  I use to go up every weekend.

  • That cone reminds me of Rotten Ralph's. It was in Arlington. It closed awhile back. I remember being like 8/9 and the cone being that big!

I might have to venture up there sometime. I love ice cream!
