2 AM wide awake every night

My LO is almost 4 weeks old and is EFF, for the past three nights he is wide awake at 2 am and stays that way until around 4 or 5. He fusses until he is picked up and even if I get him back to sleep, he will not stay that way. Is there any way around this? He is up a fair amount during the day normally so it is odd that he would be up so much at night.

    It took my DS until he was 6 weeks old to figure out his days and nights completely.  He would usually be up from 1:00 until 3:00 in the morning.  I just tried to wear him out as quickly as possible at that time.  We did a lot of play time on the floor in the middle of the night.  He eventually just figured it out and started going right back to sleep after a feeding.

    We had the same thing, thankfully she loved her swing--- she swung it out and I slept ?on the arm chair next to her
