What happens when it's too hot to swaddle?

Now that I know swaddling my LO helps her sleep, I'm dreading the warm summer nights coming up. We don't have central air and a fan can only do so much! I imagine there will be nights when she will just sleep in a onsie. What will I do when it's too hot to swaddle her? Ugh...

    We had one random hot night (well... hot for us) and we did diaper and swaddle. Not ready to part with it yet :-)

    to be honest, if it is too hot for a diaper, onesie and lightweight coton swaddle, you may need a fan or a/c.  We had a hot day a few weeks ago and dd was fine with the ac on.

    My dd won't sleep without a sleep sack, we've had some really warm days and nights this spring so she just went in the sleep sack with a diaper.  You could try swaddling with your lo's arms out, they might not get as hot that way.

    We have some Aden+Anais swaddle muslin and they are lightweight and breathable- I think they will work well for warm weather swaddling.

    We actually just borrowed a window AC unit from our neighbors and will probably buy one for ourselves. ?Sleeping in the heat is so miserable.?
