bottles/nipples/pacis in dishwasher...

I washed his bottles, nipples and pacis in the dishwasher along with some other dishes.  We had a dinner with tomato sauce and now all of his things are discolored! PITA. 

I've sterlized everything but does anyone know if there is a way to get the red/orangy coloring to go away??

    I have heard sun exposure gets rid of plastic stains, but I have never tried it.  Put them in the sun for awhile and see what it does - it's worth a shot.

    The sun is a very powerful stain remover. I use it to get poop stain off clothes and diapers! With no trace of it ever being stained.

    I've also heard lemon juice can get stains off of plastic. I'll have to give the sun a try next time ;)
