I've had it from Netflix for about a month now. ?I cannot bring myself to finish it, and I don't know why. ?I think it's because I like to do stuff while I'm watching TV, but I can't with this one. ?I should probably just send it back because there's probably a wait.
It is seriously an amazing movie! i loved it so much i bought the book it's based on, "Q&A" and will read it soon.
This isn't a spoiler, but i do wonder if there's symbolism in the use of the color yellow... anyone know?
Yellow (especially the saffron yellow/orange color) is considered auspicious among merchants as something that brings luck in making money. That may have something to do with it.

I thought it was ok. I don't think it deserved to win. Doubt was 100 times better. I also liked The Reader a lot more. I would recommend watching those two over Slumdog Millionaire.

Mommy and Daddy miss you and love you so very much!
DH and I thought it was way overrated... we saw it right before the oscars, and were shocked that it won. Gran Torino was much much better (we didn't see any of the other nominees for best film). The concept is great, but it's not stitched together well.
