Q1:(Pregnancy Related- Post Delivery): Was your labor experience what you expected? What surprised you, if anything?
It was completely different! I wanted to do a med free water birth. I ended up having to be induced because after my water broke I had no progress. I could no longer do water birth. Then I was still doing med free but after 2 hours of pushing and finding out DD was stuck I had to get a c/s. Owell. It was all worth it and I couldn't be more happy!
1. No updates from last appt, still 1cm and 70% effaced.
2. I'm not going to write a birth plan, if I did nothing would go the way I wanted anyway, but that's just my luck.
Q2:Any news or updates on your pregnancy? I hurt my ankle yesterday (a bad sprain with a hairline fracture), so we had an NST, and everything is fine. Hoping it doesn't interfere in any way with labor & delivery!
Q3:(Pregnancy Related-Pre-Delivery):Are you going to write a birth plan? Want to share yours? Our doctor gave us a sheet to fill out with basic information for birth (whether or not we want drugs, who can be in the delivery room, etc.). It was pretty basic!
It looks like I got dropped from the list. Could you please re-add me? Due date is May 27th, I'm in PA, and it's a boy!
Q1 - Doesn't apply yet.
Q2 - As of Thursday, I was 2 cm and 80%. The OB stretched my cervix and wow, was that uncomfortable! I'm having contractions frequently, but nothing timable. Also, my arms go numb at night. This kid need to get the eff out of me!
Q3 - My birth plan consists of "Yes, I want drugs". I don't think I really need to write that one down...
Q2:Any news or updates on your pregnancy? last Dr appt was Thursday, Dr said i was a 'teensy' bit dilated- must be a technical term- lol. right now i'm torn, b/c of the GD i'm so ready for this LO to be out so i can go back to the non-GD lifestyle, but the other part of me wants 5 more days at work to train my replacement so i can relax a little while i'm on leave
Q3:(Pregnancy Related-Pre-Delivery):Are you going to write a birth plan? Want to share yours? no birth plan, since this is my first i have no idea what to expect, nor can i even fathom what it will be like. i'm going in with an open mind and letting whatever happen happen.
Q2. I have my 39w appt tomorrow. Last week I was 1.5-2cm and 50% effaced so I'm hoping for some progress. I might ask her to stretch me a bit or something. I have a feeling about Wednesday though, so we'll see.
Q3. I did. I used the Bump's plan.?
I haven't updated in forever, but still pregnant. 2-plus cm and 80% effaced as of last Tuesday. Induction scheduled for Tuesday 5/19 if he doesn't show up before then.
