What Food Network show can you NOT stand?
I'm not a fan of Down Home with the Neely's or Good Eats.
I also don't like the early am people...
The Neely's are too gropey and call each other mama and daddy WAYYYYYY too much.

I forgot her, I'm no fan either. She is very Stepford.
Aw, I LOVE Good Eats!!! His recipes turn out really well too (try the Chewy version of the chocolate chip cookie sometime). But I also don't watch teh Neely's or Sandra Lee and Giada sometimes gets on my nerves. Oh and can't watch Rachel Ray any more. That got annoying fast.

Most of the shows bug me in some way and yet I watch them religiously for various reasons.
The Neelys can be annoying but I LOVE their warm bacon potato salad and a couple other recipes that I've tried. Ina seems very stuck up but I still like her show and the way she seems to love her husband. I hate the way Sandra changes her kitchen and then dresses to match it and gushes over her tablescapes. But I like her cocktails and I've made plenty of "semi homemade" meals and desserts when that was all time allowed. Giada bugs me, the way she describes the food again and again.. but I love her recipes.
I could go on and on! LOL

Not a fan of the Neelys. Pretty much for the reasons listed above, too obnoxiously clingy and nauseatingly lovey-dovey.?
Sunny Anderson (Cooking for Real) annoys the crap out of me. Partially the way she talks, but also she always seems to be making the nastiest food.?
Sandra Lee I can stand in small doses, but overall I prefer not to watch her. The coordinating stuff bugs me, though maybe the new show will be better.?
I only ever watch in the afternoons during the week, so I have no idea about morning people. I like Barefoot Contessa and Paula Deen (nice to see cooks that obviously eat) and Giadda (though her boobs annoy me). Rachel Ray I'll watch, but usually I want to slap her. Love Good Eats. I think my husband has a man-crush on Alton Brown.

DH and I were watching the Neely's and it almost seemed like kitchen porn.
Her- "I am going to use my hands to work the meat."
Him- "You are so good at that." (as he rubs her shoulder) "And I am going to add some flavor."
It was too strange.
Same. I can't stand them. It can't be sanitary to be all over one another like that when cooking. I watched a show the other day b/c they had something on about spicy chocolate fondue...Anyways, I changed the channel a lot until the recipe came up.
Barefoot Contessa - I have a hard time staying interested, but her recipes really are great (when you have the time.)
Secrets of a Restaurant Chef - I almost thought it was kind of funny/endearing at first, and then I watched it with BD and he couldn't get over how extremely unattractive the woman's mannerisms were.
Sandra Lee - Hate watching her, but will always happily turn to her recipes in a pinch.
Boo on all the Alton haters
I love me some Alton, haha. Probably because I'm actually interested in the "food science", being a culinary school grad. Understandable that other people wouldn't appreciate that end of it.
Ditto Sandra Lee, I think that I just can't stand the matching outfit, table scape, kitchen decor!?
Also, anything with Guy Fieri, either take your sunglasses off or wear them, why are they on the back of your head??? And he's too old to have his hair dyed blond.
