At what point do you think a med change would be necessary? How many days of a week is reasonable to have bad/good days? (I hope this makes sense) I have been very angry for the last 2wks or so and am at my wits end. I don't know if this has to do with my PPD or what, but I'm to the point where I need to change something. I go in on Thursday for Mirena and am thinking of asking for a med change or having them upped. I can't stand the way I feel right now.

Re: At what point.. (Re: PPD)
when your meds aren't helping your current state. If you feel it's time for a change, ask your Dr.
Don't let it get out of control. Can you get in before Thursday?
I'm sorry you're feeling this way.
*HUGS*
I felt fine up until a couple weeks ago and now I just am angry, depressed and constantly anxious. I'm also trying to wean DS, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. I can't get in before Thursday unless I try my GP because my OB is always full, I have to set up appts months in advance with her sometimes. I'm going to put a call in to the clinic RN in the morning and see what the DR says.

Good plan. I hope it works.
Your babes are adorable!
I was diagnosed with PPD or general depression when I weaned DD at 7 months! That could have a lot to do with it. My OB had a very long explaination that made a lot of sense but honestly I tuned out (bad me). The drop in hormones can onset PPD or make already diagnosed PPD worse.
Talk to your OB. If you're already on meds, they should be working.
Feel better!
