In your post below I saw you graduated from anesthesia school...I'm starting at UC for anesthesia in the fall!  I'm so excited to get into that field!  I'm so impressed you made it through anesthesia school as a single mom.  I'm nervous about starting with Macy and I have a very supportive husband who will be a huge help to me.  I can't imagine doing it alone.  I just wanted to give you another shout out :)

    I have to agree - I was incredibly impressed with all of your accomplishments, but to know that you it all as a single mom makes it that much more impressive!  Mad props to you!

    Congratulations!  It is one heck of an accomplishment just getting in that program.  I heard they had a crazy number of applications again this year.  I graduated from the UC program.  It is tough, but so worth it in the end.  It is a great field to be in.  I have never had any regrets, and I love the independence I have on the job.   It does help to have some strong family or friend support while getting through it.  If you have any questions about anything school related, feel free to email me at hav2run@hotmail.com.  My only piece of advice right now is to RELAX all summer and enjoy doing nothing but hanging with the family.  Avoid the urge to read ahead of time.  Congrats again!
