My middle child has light, light blond hair. She's 2.6 yrs old. H and I both have very dark brown hair. He was sort of dirty blond as a child (and I'm being generous), but no where near as light as DD. How on earth did she get the light hair and do you think it will stay? Also, she still doesn't have much hair and I've only trimmed to avoid a mullet, is it EVER going to come in??
(I'm obviously very bored right now, the girls are both sleeping and the boys are camping)
Re: Hair question in toddler
I come from very dark haired people...my brother had white hair until...highschool? now it is dark brown. Mine has always been dark dark.
my son has light blonde red hair...my daughter seems to have light reddish brown so far...
its so mysterious...
I think hair in general gets darker as people get older. I had light brown hair as a child and now it is very dark. DH had white blond hair as a child and now it is light brown.
My little sister had almost no hair until she was two, and even then it was very, very thin and short. She is sixteen now and she has a normal amount of hair, so I am sure that your DD will get more hair eventually.
