We went out there for our honeymoon and LOVED it. We spent most of our time in Sonoma, but ventured over to Napa a few times. The Culinary Institute of America is in Napa and I hear that it is fantastic! We didn't go due to our budget, but it might be worth looking into. I suggest looking it up online and making a reservation. There is also a restaurant in Napa called something like Laundry, but I don't remember for sure. It is also supposed to be one of the best out there. There are so many awesome restaurants to try. We mostly went to tiny hole-in-the wall places that I can't remember the names of, so I might be of no help to you. But, everything we ate was AWESOME! Ask around at local wineries and your hotel. They can be very helpful. Have fun!
