Just saw this article on msn. I am really disappointed if this is true. Kate can definitely be overbearing but for their children's sake, I'd really like to see them make it work & not just for the sake of staying together but really make it work & be happy. I think it's time they put their show aside & focus on their family. They've been able to gain & provide a lot of things they wouldn't have been able to by doing the show, which is great, but nothing is worth destroying your marriage & family.

i think this what happens when people put there life out there for everyone to see. Look at Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey, Shana Moakley and Travis Barker and list goes on and on.

Kevin and Jodi are going to be on the E show I am watching. ?The Daily 10 Weekend.

ETA I am surprised Kate's brother is out there giving interviews, he's rarely on camera on the show. ??

Yeah & supposedly Kate threw a huge fit when TLC wanted to pay Jodi for her air time & that's why she hasn't been on the show as of late. Maybe Kevin & Jodi aren't big Jon & Kate fans either.

I read a article once that Kate didn't want them on the show anymore because the network said that they were on it so much they wanted to pay them and kate would have none of that. All money went to her and only her. That's why they said you don't see aunt jodi on after those last episodes, bc int he beginning they used to go with them and see them a lot.

I agree, regardless of what has happened, no one should be commenting on it. Like Jon's accused lover's brother. Why would he do that? Everyone wants their 15min of fame I guess. J&K should just go quietly into the night. stop making appearances, doing the show, and just focus on their family. the media will tire of it soon enough, although I wish they would stop reporting it as well & just let them deal w/ their issues.

the summer season premieres soon on TLC and last night during a commercial, it said Jon and Kate would be sitting down and talking about all the controversy, etc. i hope they really do and don't beat around the bush, but either way, it should be interesting!

I saw the interview with Kate's brother and Jodi. They were pissed off at her and didn't really put much blame of Jon. They were furious.

yea it was the big controversy a season or two ago, at least in the gossip mags, they didn't talk about it on the show at all.

but it's one of the many reasons why i'm convinced kate is a biitch!

Well, it certainly changes my opinion of her some. ?I only started watching a few seasons ago, and caught the reruns to catch up, so maybe that's why I didn't see it. ?What a mess.?

I certainly hope after all of the money TLC has made on the show they make sure those kids are getting the help (counseling or otherwise) that they need. Years from now those poor kids may think all of this is their fault. Let's also hope before J&K bought all of that stuff they fully funded their children's education.

The whole thing makes me sick. I thought TLC was a family-oriented network with at least some sense of responsibilities. I've actually stopped watching the channel altogether.

Kate's ego has gotten the best of her, its very clear when you watch the show progress from the beginning to current episodes. she won't stop doing the show until they (TLC) tells her its over. I think its been quite awhile since she has put her family first, which is sad.

Depending on what you believe (and I certainly don't believe everything I read) it seems the two older girls already are in counseling and have been asking not to be on-screen. In no way did I mean to imply that people whose parents divorce need counseling.

I agree.... It is sad for the kids. I do believe that it is time for them to stop the show and worry about their family instead of their fame.

I just feel bad for the kids, I am sure all of this information is slowly making it's way to them. I hope Jon and Kate get their crap together so as to make their children their top priority.

For some reason I am interested in watching the episodes that I know were filmed when Kate knew he was having an affair. I just want to catch all the subtle passive aggression. I stopped watching this show after the first season. It seemed so fake.

I hate this comment. If they are going to be miserable together, it actually is in the kid's best interests that they split. The world is not a hunky dory place where every couple stays married forever- divorces happen. If they are constantly going to be upset with each other, it will affect the kids negatively. And sometimes a split is needed to gain perspective- some couples do get back together after an initial split.

I completely agree. I don't think it is in a child's best interest to be in the middle of an unhealthy relationship.

I completely agree too. I hope they can focus on their family & find true happiness again, but you're right, if they aren't happy together, the children are better off w/ them split up.
