It's pretty clique-ish, I think. But DD has been playing so independently lately that I've got lots of Nesting time! I know I've got like 5,000 posts, but I always feel like a newbie when I'm over there!
me too. it does feel click-ish. i tried to introduce myself and got 3 replies and 100 views. i did not want to just start posting. i have tried to make friends but no one wants to be my friend over there
i don't post a whole bunch b/c the posts are like "inside" posts or jokes but when someone posts a question toddler related i try to contribute, idk? then when i have posted a question i get like 1 reply and a million views. maybe they are hesistant b/c of all the fake nesties they have had on that board. just curious what you thought?
I don't think they care if you just start posting or not. I pretty much never see people do intro posts.
There is some helpful stuff on there, but they seem to like drama and inside jokes more. It seems like a lot of the insiders have known each other from the Nest or IRL for a long time. But the other night I posted something and prefaced it with "I'm kind of a newbie" and someone else responded and said "No you're not" and it made me feel good!
For real answers I come here unless it's late or I'm looking for a broad range of answers (like when DD had a mysterious rash).
