NBR: hotel reco's?

Looking for a nice hotel in NKY or Cinci... something with rooms with king beds and a huge tub (the tub is super important :) I haven't had a good soak in a big tub in ages!! Our tub is tiny :(

Ben and I decided last minute to take a mini/local "babymoon" this weekend... and I can't for the life of me decide where to stay!

Any reco's appreciated!!

  • The Downtown Hilton has VERY comfortable beds but I don't remember what their tubs are like.  Have fun!!

  • I'm not sure if it's too far for you or not, but I've always loved the rooms and tubs at Belterra.  It can be a little pricey, but oh so worth it in my opinion!

Doubletree has great beds.  I can't remember about the tubs but I'm sure a hotel like that has at least one whirlpool suite.  There's one in Sharonville/BlueAsh, not sure where else in town.  I have not been to Belterra but I've also heard that they have great rooms.  The delux or whatever rooms have a separate tub and huge 2 person shower, plus they have a Jeff Ruby's there.

ETA, see if you can find a B&B with a claw foot tub.  We have one in our bathroom and it is GREAT for soaking!  It's so deep and you have back support.  It's not good for couples though Embarrassed

*snort*  That doesn't matter, I want to soak big ol' pregnant self ALONE! I've passed the point of being interested in anyone touching me Stick out tongue that's also the reason for the king bed... I want some ROOM!

  • Check out Belterra for sure! I love staying there, and you can eat at Jeff Ruby's, YUMO!
  • We stayed at the Radisson Riverview in Covington on our wedding night and the night after.  We had a suite with a jacuzzi tub.  The room was beautiful, great views, and we were treated VERY well the whole time we were there.  LOVED it!  The food is very good at the restaurant...the floor revolved giving you a 360 degree view of the Cincy skyline and Covington.  We will be going back.  https://www.radisson.com/hotels/kycoving

If you want to go a little bit outside of Cincy, Murphin Ridge Inn is a great choice.  https://www.murphinridgeinn.com/ They have private cabins with jacuzzi tubs.  It is very peaceful!
