Hi there - I just saw your response way down below about also being a step parent. Yay! I think there are a few of us on this board, right? I don't visit the step parent board often. I'm just not into the national boards. The local ones feel more comfy to me. 
My stepson is going to be 8 next month. What about you?

My son Kellen is actually my stepson. Although, I do not think of him as my stepson, nor does he even know that i'm not his "real bio" mom. He will be 8 in January.
Myself and RED(can't remember the numbers) are also stepmoms. We have a great support system with each other and even do gtg's sometimes.
My SD is 4 and Red has 2 SK's.
Hi, fellow stepmoms! Yep, I have 2 SKs. SS is 9 and SD is 6. We've had some really nice GTGs. Ria and I used to hang out on the Blended Families board until there was some huge drama and people from other boards that were not in blended families came over and it caused a lot of ruckus. Being a SM has its challenges for sure, so it's nice when there are others who have/are going through what you do, too.
My oldest SS will be 9 this month and my youngest SS will be 6 this month.
It is rewarding and challenging in so many ways that are different from bio kids. Don't get me wrong, I love them all it is just different but that may come with shared parenting.
