Chicco - how do you say it?

cheeko?

or

key-ko?

 

I always thought it was cheeko, but at BBBaby the other day I heard several workers saying key-ko.  Hmmm?

    It's key-ko. The BRU people here in Indy say it that way also. :)

    It technically is pronounced Key-ko, but I say cheeko because that's what I called it before I knew the real pronunciation and I can't stop now.

    Supposed to be key-co, but I think that sounds weird so I still say Cheeko!

    I have been saying Chicco ... but now that you mention it ... the proper Italian pronunciation is key-co ... weird! =)

    I thought it was cheeko, however now I'm learning it's key-ko...so I guess it's time to start changing that habit!

    In Italian their "c" = our "ch" and their "ch"= our "c."  This sounds funny but I always remind myself by saying Dolce and Gabanna, which most people know dolce is pronounced "dol-chay."
