Is your daycare provider comfortable giving dc tylenol?

(or other "pain reliever") just curious...

I got to thinking last night when my in home care provider asked me to bring over another bottle of tylenol to have on hand. ds has been hurting due to teething lately and she will give him some in moderation. So I asked my husband if he thought daycares offer the same for children...and it just got us wondering.

Ours was fine with it as long as we signed a waiver in the morning when we dropped them off.

I have to sign a form with dosage amounts and when to give it to her.

If we bring it in and fill out forms with very detailed instructions they'll do it.

Both of the center's Ryleigh has been in will not give over-the-counter medication, it has something to do with their licensing. They will only give her prescription medication. They would allow me to give it to her when we got there, but I had to take it with me when I left.

Ditto this. Justin's daycare would not administer it and I couldn't give it to him there either. If I gave it to him before he went, I didn't tell them about it. I guess many parents will give Tylenol to mask a fever or other illness. It sucks when they're teething though.

ours too, for everything, even diaper rash cream or Aquaphor.

Ours is okay with it. We have an in-home care provider also.
