Whaddya Think? - Boy names

DH agreed from a long time ago that the baby would have his first name - Ta?no (it has cultural meaning since these were the indigenous people of the Caribbean).

But, we also agree that we will call the baby by his middle name, since I don't want to call my son by the same name as my husband. 

One more note, DH likes "strong" sounding names - whatever that means, and these names have to sound good in both Spanish and English.

Here's the list for middle names.

Julian

Sebastian

Zavier

Joaqu?n

Noah

Thoughts? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

    I like Julian, and Noah.

     

    I like Joaquin but I have a hard time pronouncing it Surprise

    I like Sebastian and Noah.  I've worked in schools for too many years so I associate the other names with kids I already know.  Except for Zavier, which is a little too different for me personally.  I do like Xavier (pronounced eck-zAYv-yer  but that's just me. Dh 86'd that name before we were pregnant Sad

    I love Sebastien but DH doesn't. ?Julien makes me think of the lemur king from Madagascar.

    Sebastian always makes me think of the crab in The Little Mermaid...

    I love Julian!  That is my FIL and husband's first name. 

    Noah and Joaquin are awesome too.

    I like Taino Zavier (or Xavier) or Taino Joaquin. It has a nice flow to it. So is your hubby's name Taino, then? You could call him Taino (insert your father's name here). I don't know if this is traditional for you, but in the part of Mexico where some of my family is from, it is traditional to name the first boy after the maternal grandfather.

    I love both Julian and Sebastian... both names were on my "short list" before we decided on Gabriel for our boy.  Out of curiosity, what nickname would you use for Sebastian, or would you always use the full name?

    It's funny because everyone has been askign about a nickname for Sebastian and I don't know. I guess I never really gave nicknames to much importance. I kinda like the whole name intact.

    I like Noah and Julian as well as Zavier...that is my friend's little boys name but it's spelled Xavier.
