Re: Grandfather names?
While I am very traditional, and my parents will be called "Grandma and Grandpa," my fiance has two nephews already, and those boys call his parents "Grammy and Grampy." I don't know if this helps....
On a side note, my dad did ask to be called "Mr. Moore" (his last name). Thought it would be good if the kid gained some respect for him!
He was teasing, of course!
The kids will figure out names on their own, more than likely. My parents originally wanted to be Nana (Nah-nah) & Gramps, but they're Nana & Poppy. Poppy came from my oldest nephew, who just decided that was what he was going to be. Nana changes pronunciation depending on the kids' moods. Calloway is the ILs' first grandchild and we've been calling them Mimi & Pa, but if Calloway decides otherwise, then they'll be called whatever he wants to call them.
DH's grandfather was Pa to him, but Ow-Wow to his uncle's children.

Don't know what my dad wants to be called - he said the baby can call him whatever they like.
FIL said that if it's a boy (we're naming a boy Stephen III), he wants to be called The Legend. haha But think he'll go by grandpa.
I called my grandfather, and we call DH's grandfather Pop Pop.
