sticky balls prevention

This is an odd question I know....

sometimes when I take off DS diaper his little balls look like they were sticking to the diaper.  I'm assuming because they are hot and sweaty, we do not use any time of powder or cream on him.  Should we be?  Would it help with his sticky balls, or is it really not that big of a deal.  He doesn't act like he minds, I just wouldn't think it would be comfortable!

Re: sticky balls prevention

  • This post really makes me giggle...DS has the same problem...but I don't think it really bothers him...and DH doesn't seem concerned, and he's my resident balls expert.

  • You could use A&D.  We slather the boys in it so poop won't stick to them.
  • I'm sorry but I totally LOL'd at this post. But yes, I've noticed as well. We don't do anything for it.
  • You might try switching diapers.  That happened to G in Pampers Swaddlers.  But now that we use natural babycare, it hasn't happened once.

OMG....REALLY!!!  I HATE digging poop out of ball wrinkles!!!  That's a great idea, I might have to try it!

  • We have a little girl so I don't really know, but when it is hot outside (as it is today) DH always complains of schweaty, schticky balls...he doesn't like it so I will be curious to see if I should powder him up in the morning or use a cream instead!
  • So glad I have 2 girls.
  • hilarious post title. love it. thanks for the laugh! and no, we don't do anything to prevent the sticky balls. it doesn't seem to bother Liam.
