6 month olds on solids...

How much food do you give at each feeding? I've been giving DS half a jar but he just wants more and cries when we're done (I usually give him a bottle after the half jar when he acts like this) but wondering if a whole jar at 1 feeding is too much?? For "breakfast", he has cereal and half a jar of fruit but this week, daycare has been giving him the whole jar (even after I tell them half a jar, ugh) but they say he loves and keeps going. Just wondering if that's too much.

    I give DS a container of food (2.5 oz) and a bottle.  Pedi actually told us to do this since DS is in the 95%.  She said he needs the calories...

    DS has been on solids since 4 months and will eat the whole jar and then want milk afterwards.

    Really?? My DS was is in the 90th. Hmm...I guess it's ok then! Pedi never went over much so I planned on asking more at his 6 month appt next week.
