I'm surprised by how many late owls we have tonight

It seems like the board is usually dead by like 8. ?I'm up working on a paper and clearly being distracted by this message board, lol. ?

On a side note, did anyone else see the music act on Leno tonight, they were a little odd. ??

    I have no idea why I'm wired like this, but I can't go to sleep for the life of me, tonight!  I even drank a glass of wine, hoping that would help.  No matter what time I go to bed, DS is going to be up at 7AM. 

    WHY ARE YOU STILL WRITING PAPERS?!?  Graduation = no more homework - LOL!

    BTW, I cracked up at your "Dear Sweet Olivia" post from this morning!  I have the same monitor for DS; but he isn't in his crib yet (still sleeping in our room).  I can sooooo see myself making a mad-dash into his room every 30 minutes!

    Lol. ?They let me walk on graduation, but I have until May 22 to turn in a paper for my death penalty class. ?And then it's not even over b/c starting on Monday for like eight weeks I have class five days a week in the morning to prepare for the bar exam.?

    Oh, and I have to literally lay in bed and refuse to allow myself to get up and check on Olivia every five minutes or to just bring her into our room again. ?I figured she has her own room with her own bed and mattress, which has to be better than the pack n play mattress, so I should let her sleep in her room. ?Plus she sleeps through the night so I don't have the excuse of having to get up every two hours with her anymore. ?I said I was going to do this like a month ago, but only moved her into her room this week. ?I made sure she was further down on her mattress tonight and turned up the sensitivity on the monitor so as not to have to make another 4 a.m. mad dash to her room, lol. ?

    Oh, yuck!  At least you aren't waiting until the last minute to start your paper - that's a plus.  Double yuck on studying for the bar!  Seriously, though, CONGRATS TO YOU for graduating from law school!  I took the LSAT after I left teaching; but I never could muster up the "cajones" (or the energy) to do anything beyond that.  Blah...now I look back and am full of regrets fo letting that chance pass me by.  Oh well, hindsight, right?  Smile

    I was always the "my child will NEVER sleep in my room" kind of person...before I had kids - LOL!  Now, I can't imagine him being so far away from us, at night.  Sleep training will be DH's project, since he's off all summer. 

    And,,,YES...NASCAR!!  All my friends are surprised when I tell them he is a fan.  They say he's "closet NASCAR," because he's "not the type" and he doesn't talk about it in public - LOL!  It's pretty terrible.  I would rather watch Sports Center with him ALL DAY LONG than 1 hour of a NASCAR race!  Of all of the things DH loves and is good at, that is surely one thing that I hope DS DOESN'T want to embrace about Daddy!
