NBR--1st date ideas for a friend of ours...

Ok so one of FI's best friends just scored a date with this really hot and super nice girl. She is a bartender at the bar they go to so they know each other enough to not have the awkwardness, but he has really low self esteem, and REALLY likes her. I really think he has a chance with her because he is an awesome guy. He needs help coming up with ideas... for tomorrow night!! I don't know what to tell him... I think he should do something out of the ordinary, but not too mushy. Dinner and a movie might be too cliche... Plus I think movies on a first date are horrible, you don't get a chance to talk. Any ideas?! TIA!!

    I've always liked miniature golf. It's fun and you can talk the whole time, but you're still doing something. So if there's awkward silence it doesn't matter.

    A fun restaurant experience, like greek or sushi, so they can talk... I don't know where you live, but going on a walk downtown is always nice... maybe stopping for some gelatto.?

    I'm such a fatty preg person... all I can think about is food!?

    Is there something in your area like a planetarium, aquarium or a zoo? Zoos at night - if they are open and have the lights in the trees are cool.

    i was gonna say theme park but not sure if that's a good idea....because you would be standing in line and have that akward silence...

     mini golf was a good idea as pp said... dh and i did that on one of our 1st dates-
