Good morning! ?I don't post on this board very often, but I was wondering if any of you delivered at SR Regional? ?If so, what did you think of it? ?That's where I'm planning on delivering....
I had my boys there and loved the experience! (And one of my very good friends is the NICU nurse there.) Most of the nurses we had were really great (I say most because there were 2 traveling nurses that I didn't care for AT ALL.) My own critique is that they could've had easier access to a lactation consultant. I had asked if they knew of anyone as I was getting discharged and they couldn't remember the person's name or info. Luckily, the lady I was thinking of is a twin mom and the twins group and my pedi set us up with her. Other than that, the hospital is nice and just the little touches (the champagne/celebration dinner on your last night there) made it a great experience (and the food was GOOD!).
I delievered there. I had an awesome experience. The nurses were all great and my private room had a nice view. I agree about the lactation consultant, I never saw her, but every nurse was super helpful with all sorts of breastfeeding tips.
The best part was the champagne dinner though. It gave dh and I time to decompress a bit.
