We were told that LO is probably a girl, and both DH and I feel very strongly that she is a girl. Our house has been completely overtaken by everything cute, pink & frilly that you can imagine. (most of the "big ticket" items are acutally gender neutral) But sometimes I really worry that she will be a he.... afterall the US technician really wasn't even positive.
Re: Do you worry that your baby girl will actually be a boy? or vice versa?
No, I have lots of u/s's and we are 110% sure she is a girl.
In your case though, I would have paid for an extra u/s. I can't do the "probably" thing : )
No, I don't see why anyone would worry about this. There are more serious things to worry about!
I've had a lot of ultrasounds anyway--and every time, the tech says "yep, definitely a girl." I guess my girl is not too shy.
If I hadn't clearly seen a penis and scrotum, I'd be worried. But I don't think what I saw will change from 20 weeks to 40 weeks.
But I know people who have been told one sex only to have another. I think I'd be shocked if I'm not having a boy.

yes.
We found out at 20w that it was a girl, and I am getting a 4D u/s just to make sure. I was actually getting the next u/s done at 31w, but called today and had it pushed up a week b/c I cant stand the wait. I want to find out before the nursery is painted (my mom is painting it)...dont know if we can do that though.
I'z skur'd
We had an amnio (for other reasons), but we know 100% that it's a boy from that.
Missed m/c 10/25/10 @ 11.5 weeks
Yes. I can't say I don't worry about this a little bit, even though our tech was correct with our first baby girl and was confident this one is a girl, too. There was no sign of any boy parts and we got a good picture of between the lets, so I'm pretty confident it's a girl, but you never know until the baby is born!?
I'll find out tomorrow!

to answer a pp about why we would be worried:
for me, we opted to do a lot of gender specific colors (for the room, clothing etc) we left big big things, neutral so we can use again in future but there would be a problem returning some of the clothing because by the time the baby gets here to really find out, the receipt would expire!
i am not too worried because everytime i go in for an u/s, i ask, "is it still a girl?" and the tech always says "yes!" (and its a diff tech each time)... haha
i go regularly for high risk (hypertension)..
DD born 07.06.09 || DS born 01.24.11 || Bean 3.0 due 11.16.12
It would depend on how vague the ultrasound tech was. With DD, the tech said right away, "It's a girl. There's the hamburger!" (because it looks like a hamburger.) Plus she had a really good angle. So, I wasn't worried about her being wrong.
With a boy, there's no doubt once they see that peen.
Personally, I am not worried because our little guy was not shy by spreading his legs spread eagle for us. LOL!
Be we also had an ultra sound at 20 weeks & then at 22 weeks because with the 1st one, he wasn't being coopertive.
I don't think I would have bought much that was pink and frilly if the ultrasound tech wasn't very sure.
At my ultrasound, the tech said it was a girl. I said, "how sure are you because I know sometimes it's hard to tell, etc." She responded, "I'm VERY sure." Then she got a crotch shot with the three lines there very, very clearly.
So, I'm pretty sure. I, of course, have a tiny part of my brain that says, "what if?" (we'd have to repaint the nursery for sure!), but I'm pretty confident. I have another ultrasound in a couple weeks, so we'll have another chance to see then!
