babies scare me...

lol....i am transitioning next week (work for head start) and i will have 4-4 week old babies....i'm terrified! i've always been around babies, but never cared for infants! eek! i'm terrified! someone please reasure me that i will be fine!

    I think you should be okay......use this as a learning experience. Take all that you can from it.
    Married for 10 years, TTC 5 years
    dx: Male Factor Infertility, low sperm count, low motility
    History:
    3 Clomid IUI's=3 BFN
    took a break from trying for the last 3 years
    Currently:
    met with doctor 2/2/16, actively TTC #1 again, excited
    Psalm 113:9 "He gives the childless woman a family, making her a happy mother. Praise the LORD!"

    I watched my BFF's 3 month old for a week a couple weeks ago. Was totally freaked but after the first night from hell the rest of the week was perfect. You'll do fine!

    Thanks for the nice comments! =) I wont be alone, there is another teacher in there. We have 8 children total. 4 to a teacher. I'm sure it will be fine. Just a little freak-out.

    I didn't know much about babies until I had one.  A lot of people don't. 

    4 newborns is a lot, though.  I'd be nervous, too.

    It will be a transition for sure, but I'm sure the director wouldn't put you in there if she didn't feel you can handle it.  If you get in there and can't, tell someone.  Four infants is a lot ... I've never totally understood that ratio.

    Being terrified of having 1 baby that's yours versus being terrified of having 4 that aren't is different in my book.

    I own a preschool and when I first started I was terrified (and I am trying to have my own).  I wasn't terrified of the kids, I was terrified I'd screw up and I think that's a pretty normal feeling.
