Ditto to that! I like the pool for swimming and the beach for sunset watching or reading during the day.

I love being ON the beach... the warm sand, the sound of the ocean, watching the waves roll in.

But for actually swimming and cooling off, I prefer a pool. The water is cleaner and no "wildlife" to worry about!

If its between a Lake and a pool, I prefer the Lake Beach.

If its between the Ocean and a pool, I prefer the pool. ??

I love laying on the beach if it's not too windy, but I prefer swimming in the pool. ?I like to be able to watch where I'm stepping! ?At the beach, I'm always afraid of stepping on something hostile.

i'm with the majority on this one. I prefer the pool for swimming, but love to sit by the ocean. The sand & the stickiness do get to me after a while though!

Totally a pool person. Not a big fan of swimming with the unknown as well as getting sand in unmentionable places Surprise But I do love the feel of the wind at the ocean...

I think I like both but for different reasons... if you are close to the beach it is usually cooler and you get a nice breeze but I am scared of the "wildlife" also. I also like it because you can ride the waves and that is fun to do. With a pool it is fun but only if there are not too many people there you can spreed out more at the beach. But clean up is easier at the pool and for some reason I do like the smell of chlorine.
