your (and his) parents? Grandma/grandpa? Mimmi/Papa? I need some ideas that don't sound too fuddy duddy!

    MomMom and PopPop. for my parent and his want to be called Marmie and Elmo.  But LO will call them whatever he or she wants.

    I have friends that use the german version...oma and opa

    She will be calling my mom Abuelita (grandma in spanish) and my dad either Abuelito or Grandpa, depends on what my dad prefers. She will call my BF's dad Grandpa Jose.

    My DD calls my mom and step dad - Bama and Papa. She calls all the other grandpa's Papa too. We just let her choose what she wanted to call them. We called them grandma and grandpa and she went with Bama and Papa. Works for me and them.

    my parents are Oma (german) and Pap.  DH's mom is nanny (already picked out from her other grandchildren). 

    My aunt and uncle are Nana and Pop.  I think that is cute!

    We asked both sets what they preferred to be called. My parents wanted to be called Grandmom and Granddad, while DH's parents wanted to be Grandma and Grandpa. Makes it easier to distinguish between them, too. I'd ask them what they prefer, honestly. :)

    We let them pick what they would like to be called. My ILs will be Yiayia and Papou (my DH is 1/2 Greek) and my parents haven't decided yet. They definitely won't be choosing anything crazy though, so I'm not worried!

    My parents: Momma and Papa (that's what we call them already because of my niece)

    DH's parents: Grandma and Grandpa

    MIL and her husband would like to be called Nana and Papa. FIL's wife is a little younger and wants to go by her first name. My parents haven't said yet, but I have a feeling they're ether going to go super traditional (grandma/grandpa) or super out there.

    I love seeing what others are doing, I feel like we need some different ideas!

    DD named my FIL "Papa" and my dad "Gampy" but that later evolved into Grampy.  My MIL and mom wanted Nana so MIL is just Nana and mom is Nana Barbara.  Kinda formal I know, but she's probably seen DD 15 times in her 5 yrs even though she lives 10 minutes away - a whole other story.

    No clue.  On his side, its just his mom and she's already "Gam" or "GeeGee" (hard Gs).  On my side, its my Dad and my step mom... and maybe its just me, but I don't really want my step mom to be "Grandma" because my mom is Grandma... she's just not alive to claim the title.

    oh where to start we have so many parents and step parents :)

    My mom - Grandma
    My dad - Grandpa
    Stepmom - Mamaw (her choice)

    His Dad - Pawpaw
    His Mom - Meme
    Stepmom - Nana
