We are still fighting about that. I want LO to be and DH doesn't. He wasn't until he was like twelve. We have two different religions and DH refuses to let me do it in my church so I'm hoping maybe I can find some middle ground. Its a religious thing that I really want done.

Thanks for the input ladies. We are getting LO baptised and the date is already set for August 8th. We have to do it this early b/c DH's sister is going to be in town..this is also when his niece is getting baptised, but this is something one should not get me started on..lol. She will be 5ish weeks old if I go to my due date. We also have to take classes, which BTW I did not have to do with DD, and those start just 13 days after my EDD.
I'm baptist and he's catholic, so he really wants to have DS baptised. I'm fine with it, but know nothing about the specifics. I guess I should start to find out, but kinda left it on DH's shoulders.
We will be, probably in October (around 5 months old). We're waiting until their a little older b/c we're doing it at my parents' church out of town and didn't want to travel so far with them when they were really tiny.

DH and I had the same issues. His parents' church doesn't baptize until you're old enough to decide for yourself. My church always did infant baptisms. Thankfully, he understood how important it is to me that the boys be baptized so we're going to do it now in my church and if they want to do it later in a different church, that will be their choice. Maybe offer that suggestion to DH?
Re: Anyone getting LO baptised?
