I didn't choose when, my doc scheduled me. I was 19w6d.

17w2d for gender confirmation, next ultrasound should be the week of 6/22 to confirm placenta movement and we'll reconfirm then.

my next appointment i will be 17w 3d and i asked them if they were going to do the big u/s they told me no, it would be the appointment after that where i will be 21weeks!

My doctor wouldn't let me come in for it until I was at least 20 weeks. I think the 3D image places around here ask you to wait until 18 weeks, but I've seen a lot of announcements on here from girls that were less than 18 weeks along.

Mine was also scheduled for me... at 21w. I was a little disappointed that we had to wait that long, but we got to see very clearly that he was a he when we finally had the u/s! You may want to wait; 16w can be too early for some.

My Dr. is making me wait till 22 weeks! I might go to one of the elective facilities, but I think I'll wait till about 17 or 18 weeks.

my doc gave me a ultrasound requisition, told me to schedule it for 18 - 22 weeks.

they couldn't fit me in any sooner than June 1st, i'll be 21w4d. they said they'll still let me know the sex, but it's after 26w they won't.

there aren't really too many private, elective facilities around here, if i wanted to know any sooner, and the cheapest one is still $250, while the one my doc sent me to is covered under MSP. yeah, i think i'll wait.?

Mine wouldn't let us schedule it until I was 17 weeks, with the earliest appt being at 18 weeks.

19wks for gender, 22w5d for 1st 3d/4d, 2nd 3d/4d will be 27wks, and more to follow!

My doctor said 20 weeks is the optimal time and scheduled an appointment for that week. ?I think 16 is too early, I have heard pretty?consistently?that between 18 and 22 weeks is standard.

Mine was at 19w6d...my OB said anytime after 19 weeks was fine.

I went for gender determination at 17 weeks and had my "big" u/s with the doctor at 22... at the big u/s, the doctor is claiming a different gender than the 17 week u/s, so I would be careful about going too early. I have heard that before 20 weeks is really iffy and I wish I had listened!
