Can you return Gap outlet clothes to Gap?

I bought DH a pair of jeans at the outlets today and its to tight. Can I return them to the gap store or do I have to go back to the outlets. Its like a 45 min drive to the outlets.
                 7/08, 1/12, 2/14, Due with baby #4  2/12/16

    Nope.  I tried returning an item to Gap once and they told me they couldn't take it back b/c it was a Gap outlet item.
