Yeah, and he won't. He's too scared he'll cut me. I told him there's really nothing to it...ah well. My doctor gets to keep viewing my bad hack job. I always think I get it all, then later I find a tiny strip of hairs.
DH did it for me for the first time the other day. Honestly I was probably better off doing it myself completely blind. He was afraid to press down with the razor so it ended up patchy looking, but I guess it's better than it was...
DH and I take every shower together - it's just a thing we've done for forever. The other day he looks down and asks "do you want me to help you shave?" Umm..I didn't ask...so I guess he thinks I need to landscape.
But, I politely declined and gave him a sweet peck and told him thanks for offering!
lol My husband offered After he saw how many spots i was missing when i did shave!! LOL but if you want your husband too get the intuition razor and thats the easiest and the safest too.
Mine has been doing mine lately since there's no way I can even bend over and do it anymore. It scares me every single time that he's gonna cut me but actually he does a pretty decent job!
LOL! No, I've managed to handle it on my own so far..but I did take a hot bath last night..and was having some trouble getting out...he was standing there holding his hand out to help me...but I wouldn't take it....I told him I needed to do it on my own!! I'm stubborn I guess!
DH has said he's willing to try, but I shower when he's at work, so that doesn't help. I've gotten to the point where I shave what I can by feel and just let the rest do what it's going to do. I stopped worrying about the aesthetics and now am purely concerned with comfort.
Contemplating the snow.

I am scared I will get a nik down there.....so I have found that if I lay in the bath and do it at the tail end of my bath I am able to see a lot more than standing. I usually just feel around.
Im sure its a terrible job but whatever and I miss several spots.
Im sure they have seen much worse... at least we shave or try to!
DH did some grooming for me this weekend for the first time ever. He did an OK job. He would've done better, but he was scared to apply too much pressure. I'm not baby's butt soft, but it'll do
Oh, yeah. DH shaves the bikini area for me and trims the rest with his trimmer. It's not the big of a deal and there's not a whole lot that we don't share with each other. He shaves his face and neck every day without cutting, so I trust him to be careful.
yup, DH helps me out...usually once a week. I was a bit embarrassed to ask, but he told me not to be. He said he's seen it all before and besides it's part of our vows...as in for better or for worse. He actually does a pretty good job, much better than I would be able to do at this point.
I promised that after DD is born and I'm all healed we'll go back to doing these type of things in private so that we can get the spark back in our marrige, but for the time being he seems content to help me however he can.
Re: Anyone asked DH to help you shave "down there?"

I usually use an electric trimmer and I asked DH for help and he just kinda laughed. That was weeks ago and it hasn't happened yet!
LOL..yes..and he refused and told me to go get a wax! <-normally I do, but i'm a chicken now.
This was my solution..toilet seat down, old towl on top w/ mirror. Buzz, then shaved to shape up. I feel sooo much better having done it
GL!
No way - I'm pretty sure he'd cut me, and he's too afraid of the same.
Waxing is much easier - more convenient and less painful, IMO.
