Toddler Gets Pencil Lodged in Throat

Did anyone see this miraculous story?! It's just so crazy that in seconds something like this could happen.

    You should really read it! It is an amazing story of how close he was to bleeding to death. It's not gory.

    Ok, read it, now crying with relief! :) Poor little Bubba. And poor Momma!!!

    Object penetration injuries scare the flock out of me. Take it out, leave it in, take it out, leave it in? I THINK you're supposed to stabilize it and leave it in, since it acts as a tourniquet (sp.) ...

  • The pix was hard to see, but I agree it was a good story.  It reminds me how luck we are.  Not that I really need reminding.. my ds fell in a pond when he was 13 months old and I'm just getting over the panic attacks 9 months later.  That mom doesnt know it yet, but she too will have panic attacks, like the next time she sits at one of thoses traffic lights.

     I'm just glad that everything worked out for them Big Smile
