first ob appt today

Today was my first ob appointment :)  She did an ultrasound, which I was happy about. The baby is still measuring a few days behind, which really freaks me out.  The heart rate was around 180 though, which was great. Both the RE and OB keep telling me not to worry about  measuring a few days behind, but it really scares me.  I get one more ultrasound at the RE on Monday and then I am on my own until the NT scan.  The NT scan is where we discovered my missed miscarriage last time so I have major anxiety about it -- hoping for a different result this time!  thanks for listening.

    I know it's easier said than done to tell you not to worry about measuring a few days behind.  My RE always says that the margin for error on the measurements is a few days in either direction.

    Measuring a few days behind is really no big deal, like your doc said--there is always a margin of error between equipment and the person doing the measurements. ?For now try to relax (easier said than done) a little and enjoy being pregnant!!

    I know it can't be easy, especially approaching such a big milestone from your previous pregnancy, but try and stay focused on this pregnancy! I measured behind for my first few u/s, but everything has turned out well, so far. It is totally normal! Good luck and hang in there!
